Individual Therapy Session
Dr. Gallo provides client-centered treatment for children and adolescents. Using a skill based approach allows for young people to develop the abilities and confidence to navigate large emotions that can use in their daily life. Through evidence based Cognitive Behavioral Techniques, a child can learn to challenge and replace the negative thoughts and behaviors that hold them back. Sessions are available in both 30 and 45 minute time frames.

Parent Consultations
Sometimes big feelings and behaviors can be especially challenging and can impact everyone involved. Parent consultations are offered to help parents and guardians learn effective, evidence based strategies and tools to help improve a child's ability to tolerate negative emotions. Parent consultations are roughly 45 minutes to 1 hour, and the amount of sessions is dependent on the need of the family.

Psychological Evaluations
Psychological and psychoeducational evaluations are available to clarify and understand a child's strengths and needs. Evaluations may be helpful in determining the appropriate support, accommodations, and services that may be needed to help support academic success. This may include determining treatment recommendations, academic interventions, or testing accommodations for school.
Evaluations provide valuable insight into emotional, cognitive, behavioral, and academic functioning. They can guide decisions regarding treatment planning, academic interventions, testing accommodations, and other supports to help individuals thrive in school, work, and daily life. Each evaluation is tailored to the individual and typically takes place over the course of several sessions to ensure a thorough and thoughtful assessment process.
Insurance Information
Dr. Gallo is an out of network provider for individual sessions only.
She accepts United Healthcare, Aetna, and Empire Blue Cross/Blue Shield insurance exclusively through Headway.

Headway is responsible for collecting payment for all sessions and processing the claims.
Dr. Gallo does not participate in insurance plans for evaluations or parent consultations.
